Tokyo Glass Studio Rinzen is a Kiriko brand established in 2021.
Kiriko is the Japanese name for cut glass, of which Edo Kiriko and Satsuma Kiriko are representative. Although glass making itself was introduced from the West, Kiriko is a traditional craft produced using techniques unique to Japan.
Fascinated by the beauty of Kiriko, I trained at a major manufacturer and started my own brand, aiming to create "Rinzen Kiriko," which is a fusion of classic and modern styles.
This time, a moody glass that looks like a shining star of the galaxy and a pendant with a myriad of fine cuts in a leaf have been added to the lineup.
