TANAKA SOKKEN is the in-house brand of Tanakaseni, a long-established sock manufacturer in Kakogawa, Hyogo Prefecture.
SOKKEN’ means “socks” in Dutch and was launched on the 100th anniversary of the company's foundation.
Kakogawa in the Harima region, where cotton cultivation has flourished since ancient times, is a major sock production area, and high-quality socks are still produced there today.
The socks of TANAKA SOKKEN are flat and smooth to wear, as the toe seams are finished by hand by craftsmen.
We have taken on the challenge of incorporating large patterns into our socks, which have been difficult to do.
