TABLEAU Factory was established in 1989.

Partnering with skilled artisans, we create original products centered around three series: "Edo Kiriko," "Engraved Glass," and "Edo Glass."

The brand name "TABLEAU" means 'painting' in French.

We manufacture and sell one-of-a-kind items that only we can create, including vessels incorporating techniques and sensibilities brought from Europe, as well as products inheriting the tradition of "Edo Kiriko" born in Japan.

■Engraved Glass

The "engraved glass" primarily handled by TABLEAU Factory is created using the sandblasting technique.

This method involves blasting fine sand particles to form patterns This technique evolved from the methods used by Emile Galle, a leading Art Nouveau glass artist active from the late 19th to early 20th century.

Its charm lies in nostalgic designs inspired by nature.

■Edo Kiriko

"Edo Kiriko" is a traditional craft born in the 17th century and passed down to the present day.

Our Edo Kiriko features not only traditional pieces crafted by skilled artisans but also unique designs suited to modern living.

■Edo Glass

"Edo Glass" is crafted based on traditional techniques dating back to the Edo period.

It features modern designs inspired by motifs cherished since Edo times, such as komon patterns and ukiyo-e prints.
