Description
Gentle hues, dotted fan!
My name is Fukatsu.
Currently, there are only two Edo-style folding fan craftsmen including myself.
Each Edo fan is finished by one person in about 30 processes, so the individuality of each craftsman shines through in the finished product.
The pattern is a small dot pattern called "Samekomon".
The shark's skin is tough and has the meaning of "warding off evil spirits" or "repelling evil spirits.
It is faintly peach-colored.
The gentle color of this fan makes it easy to use in everyday life.
It is a gem of a traditional technique that has been passed down for 150 years.
Please buy it as a gift for your loved one or as a reward for yourself.
