History
We are in a single era
We have roots in Kyosuzu that spread from Kyoto in the latter half of the Edo period.
Yaichiro Imai founded Osaka Suzuki Co., Ltd.
in 1949.
As we continued to refine our traditional craft skills, we had a strong feeling that “when traditional craft stops, it will end”.
While valuing the succession of traditional technologies, we have been developing products that have adapted to the changing lifestyles of the times for over 20 years.
We are also committed to human resource development and accept young people who have just joined the company.
Unusual in the world of craftsmanship that suffers from a lack of successors, more than half of the young people in their 20s and 30s are in our field.
We continue to challenge with the spirit that we are entrusted with one era to convey Osaka Nanka tinware to the next era.
Characteristic
Although it is metal, it adapts to the hand
Pewterware has a long history, and tin jars have been discovered in the ancient city of Egypt, which was built 1,500 BC.
The technology we inherited was designated by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry as a traditional craft "Osaka Nanka Pewterware" in 1983.
Pewter is a metal that resists rusting and discoloration.
In addition to being excellent in practical use, the pewter molecules are rough and adsorb water and liquor impurities, and have the effect of mellowing the taste.
Also, it transfers heat at 1.8 times faster than pottery and transmits it to the whole at 50 times faster.
Especially when you drink, you will be amazed by the difference in taste.
The gentle taste using tin and the warm touch enhance the taste of liquor and water.
For Customers
Pewterware that snuggles up to your life

Our manufactured tin products have passed various examinations under the guidance of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and can be used safely and safely.
We will continue to adhere to the policy of “Keeping Traditional Crafts Needed from the Ages”.
Please pick up the masterpiece of Japanese craftsman and feel the warmth of tin that is familiar to your hand even though it is metal.
