The Shizima is a knife that incorporates the Echizen Uchihamono technique, which we have passed down for three generations.

The knife is made of two materials.

The core (blade) is made of blue paper steel, which is characterised by its long-lasting sharpness, while stainless steel, which is resistant to rust, is used for the steel that envelops the core (blade) from the outside.

Blue paper steel has a good cutting ability, but its disadvantage is that it rusts easily.

However, we would be happy if you could also enjoy the time-consuming and difficult task of knife care.

We also chose oak wood for the handle.

The handle is specially made for the knife by the craftsmen who make the handles, so the grip and gentle feel are exceptional.

Light, strong and sharp, this is a knife that will last for 10 or 20 years and is ideal for camping and bushcraft.
