Description
This is a gorgeous KIMEKOMI doll with a cherry blossom pattern.
A woman with a fragile expression that creates a moment of beauty like cherry blossoms is impressive.
The collar of the gorgeous juni-hitoe (12-layered kimono) is made with a sophisticated technique called "layering".
The "pile" technique is a technique in which several long, thin pieces of cloth, each folded in half and of a different color, are pasted on top of each other to make it look as if the garments are being worn in layers.
By using this technique, the doll becomes more three-dimensional.
The long hair, known as koten-sagegami, is a style that comes with the Juni-hitoe (12-layered kimono), and the eyebrows are round and gentle with a blur, just like the court nobles of the Heian period.
