Description

The large full moon and starry sky floating in the pitch-black night sky are fantastical.
"Keibifugetsu" began through an encounter with visual artist and designer Hisakazu Suzuki.
This work expresses "emotional sentiments" such as prayer, memory, and hope using the waxing and waning moon as its motif, meticulously depicting everything from the gradations of the full moon to the stardust.
Combining the traditional paper-making techniques of "Handmade Washi Tanino" and the "Karagen" Karakami craftsmanship with Hisakazu Suzuki's beautiful, fantastical designs, a truly exceptional piece has been created.
Enjoy not only the design but also the lustrous quality of the paper and the unique Japanese paper printing technique.
Treat yourself. The phrase "tsuki o yobu" (literally, "calling the moon") originates from the moon, so please consider incorporating it as a lucky charm!
