Description

The full moon floating above the cypress forest is fantastically beautiful.
"Keibifugetsu" began through an encounter with visual artist and designer Hisakazu Suzuki.
It depicts the dazzlingly bright moon visible from the cypress forest.
The scene depicting the full moon's light illuminating the forest overlays the power dwelling within the silence with the purifying radiance brought by the moon.
Combining the traditional paper-making techniques of "Handmade Washi Tanino" and the "Karagen" Karakami craftsmanship with Hisakazu Suzuki's beautiful, fantastical designs, a truly exceptional piece has been created.
Enjoy not only the design but also the lustrous quality of the paper and the unique Japanese paper printing technique.
The phrase "tsuki o yobu" (literally, "calling the moon") originates from the moon, making it an auspicious item. Since it features cypress, a symbol of Japan, it also makes a wonderful gift for international friends.
