A collaboration of Kyoto Crafts
These sturdy and supple top-quality scarves are made by Kyoto craftsmen who weave thinly cut and twisted Kurotani Washi paper and silk threads using the Tango Chirimen technique and dye them with the Kyoto Kanoko Shibori technique.
Kurotani Washi, which has a history of more than 800 years, is carefully finished one by one by skilled craftsmen using the traditional handmade technique.
This is a "nurturing stole" that becomes more familiar with the skin the longer it is used, meaning you can enjoy the way it changes over time.
The vivid Akane color of this herb-dyed stole is a gem that goes well with both Japanese and Western clothing.
This product is recommended for birthday celebrations and longevity celebrations.
