Description

A little cute Oni-Daruma doll.
This figurine is a combination of a high-quality, smoked silver Awaji Onigawara tile and a Daruma doll.
The clay of Awaji Island, which used to be the bottom of a lake until two million years ago, is very suitable for tile making.
They are painstakingly handmade by artisans with the blessings of nature.
Daruma dolls are made in the shape of the Chinese monk Daruma Daishi sitting in zazen meditation, and have taken root as a standard lucky charm because they rise up even if they fall down.
It is recommended as an ornament to ward off bad luck, as a housewarming gift and as a present for students preparing for exams.
