A Beer Tumbler Blooming with Beautiful Flowers
This beer tumbler is crafted by Touan, a Kyoto-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki kiln with four generations of heritage. Milky white patterns grace the entire surface, creating a color palette that feels like a field of flowers in full bloom — a truly exceptional piece.
The vibrant patterns are created using a proprietary glaze that Touan researched and developed in-house. By harnessing the natural crystallization of the glaze, the technique produces colors of remarkable clarity — almost as if the surface were coated in glass. This series, named "Hana Kesshō" (Flower Crystal), stands as one of Touan's most iconic works today.
