Founded in 1938 in a small town located between Suruga Bay and the mountains in Shizuoka Prefecture, Kanejo has been manufacturing and selling sakura ebi (shrimp) and dried fish shavings.
Because we are a dried fish shavings shop, we commitment in making dried fish shavings that are not only good for making soup stock, but are also delicious to eat.
Kanejo's individuality is created through trial and error of materials and manufacturing methods, well-honed judgement, and skilled techniques.
