歷史
使用自製的釉彩進行陶藝製作長達30年以上
竹村繁男先生於1953年時在京都山科出生，之後拜京都府指定無形文化財保持者木村盛伸先生為師並踏上陶藝製作之路。使用自己製作的釉彩進行作品創作已長達30年以上。
特色
由自然的「灰」與「炎」創造的顏色
先將杉、葡萄、向日葵等大自然中的植物做成灰後，再將其製成釉彩。植物灰沒有辦法一次大量取得。就算搜集了大量的植物與樹枝，也只能從中得到一小把的植物灰。將這些灰溶於水後，還要多次換水以去除灰汁與雜質，至灰釉製作完成為止需耗費相當長一段時間。
