New proposals from the island of fragrance
Awaji Island, where the first fragrant wood drifted ashore in Japan, boasts Japan's largest production of incense sticks, and its incense masters, known as Koshi, are pursuing new types of incense sticks while carrying on traditional techniques.
This product contains three sticks each of 14 different types of incense named after people familiar to Europeans, allowing you to enjoy the stories of 14 different people.
The Awaji-gawara incense holders included with this product have a unique and creative shape that differs from one another, giving them a sophisticated interior presence.
Two incense sticks can be set up at the same time, and you will discover your own unique mellow fragrance by combining them.
The set allows you to enjoy the collaboration of different types of incense, such as tradition and innovation, the West and the East, and two different scents, overturning the concept of incense sticks and creating a moment of peace and relaxation.
