The Radiance of Hope, Connected by Tradition!
This is a fountain brush pen crafted from pear wood—the same wood we use for molds in our traditional ink-making process—and finished with the techniques of "Wajima Makie" and "Wajima-nuri."
It was created to support the revival of "Wajima-nuri," a traditional craft of Ishikawa Prefecture that suffered extensive damage in the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
Each brush is meticulously handcrafted by artisans who carry on these traditions, so even with the same design, every piece has its own unique character.
We recommend this as a gift for those who love traditional crafts or wish for the recovery of the Noto Peninsula.
We hope this one-of-a-kind writing instrument, where the tradition of "Wajima-nuri" resonates with the spirit of Kuretake's ink-making, will add a touch of vibrancy to your daily life.
